"Just say HELLO" - by Me

Amazing how life can change
with just one simple word.
It takes no real effort
to just say HELLO.

Life was going ok
No real dating per se
Friends were around
but did not fill that void.

Then one day
I came across the most handsome man
There he was looking back at me
and the rest was history.

I stared at his pictures
as though he was looking at ONLY me
and thought to myself
I need to just say HELLO.

A simple message was sent
HELLO was all it said
I waited nervously and anxiously
and nothing. Rejected yet again.

And then, there it was
a response back
A response from the most handsome man
I melted in my chair

Could it be
This handsome man is actually interested
My heart races as we chat
My muscles melt with each word

Till that day we met
Everything stopped
My heart melted
My soul was ablaze

AND I KNEW from that day
I was in love
All because I had to meet this man
and just say HELLO.
