We LOVE LOVE LOVE LADY GAGA...

This was by far the most amazing show I have ever been to. She did 19 songs plus a new song which shall soon be a number 1 hit in 2011 I am sure. We tried to buy tickets in March(?) I think that is when they went on sale. We had 2 laptops and logged into Ticketmaster and by the time we got through they were sold out. MINUTES!!! GONE...AHHHH I wanted to scream.

We tried for months to get tickets. Finally the day of the show in August Gustavo went and bought tickets at the box office during the day and we got tickets in section 214 BEHIND THE STAGE. I was excited to just see the show so I was ok with bad seats for $50 bucks. I wanted to be in the crowd and go wild with everyone.

It was about 20 mins before showtime and Gustavo went to the boxoffice to exchange our tickets. We ended up like one section from the front of the stage and 11 rows back. IT WAS AMAZING!!! The energy, the performance, the music was off the hook.

There was this one sequence where she was playing a piano and the piano lit on fire and then there was this whirling wind in the center making this cyclone of fire. IT WAS AWESOME. She plays the piano like nobody else.

Why would you even ask me that? I'm insulted! Every time something goes missing around here, everybody looks at me! For your information, I don't even wear that shade - it doesn't flatter my complexion and it tastes terrib--oops.

My spiritual enlightenment

So today we made a rare trip to the All Saint's Church in Pasadena for some spiritual enlightening and some positive energy. We have been going through some stuff and when times get rough a trip to church seems to balance things out.

The All Saint's Church is a great place to be when you are gay. The church does not discriminate and when prop 8 passed in California they were first on the news making it clear that they are free from discrimination and they did not support the proposition.

The congregation is probably 25% homosexual and people don't seem to mind. The church does not preach being CHRISTIAN they preach being CHRISTS. They want you to not judge people and to accept people. It was just a great experience there and I felt the comfort of my Grandma today as I sat there and prayed. I miss her so much and I pray to hear her voice again and feel her touch. It has been 2 years now and every time I think of her my eyes fill up with tears and I break down.

In church today I was just thinking of her and praying to her and hoping everything is ok and she is happy and I know she is always with me since I feel her presence. ALSO, I have heard her call my name which made me nervous at first but soothed me afterwards. I just miss her and wish I still had her and that Gustavo could have met her because I know they would have gotten along very well since they are both amazing people!!!

The church is amazing inside and the stain glass is gorgeous.

Resurrecting Mary - Oil Can Harry's

OMG last night we went to Oil Can Harry's in Studio City to see a Drag Show called RESURRECTING MARY. Before it closed down we had a drag bar in Studio City called Oil Can Harry's where they put on some amazing Drag Shows. Since then, the bar has closed like so many other gay bars in town.

Once a month they bring the show to Oil Can Harry's to allow the performers to do their thing. My friend from High School who I have not seen since Grad Night at Disneyland was performing. She looked amazing and grinded in my lap. I was so embarrassed but it was fun. The show was great. Some of the performers sing LIVE and some lip sing.

Overall though the 7 people who flaked out on us last night really missed out on a great evening. The lady who sang Whitney Houston was amazing. My friend Daniea came out and did Pink and her moves were off the hook.

All in all it was a great evening out with Gustavo and Tony. We met a lady who is friends with the MC for the evening and she was very sweet. Next month we are going to try and get our friends to attend and support the LADIES. I give it two thumbs up for fun and entertainment.

I was driving to work today and had to take a picture of this pest control company's truck. When the light turned red I snapped the pictures. Do you have ants in your pants? The back was funny too with the lady running away from the spider. I would call them just because the truck entertained me :-)
